Wow - what a start to the CHASE! JKB jumps out to re-establish her lead after the points reset going into the chase. She increases te distance to second by 147 points. The pack racing for the bronze are mostly unchanged. Who says old farts can't drive?!?!?

Wow -- what a finish!!! Looks like Jeanne and Melissa get to slug it out for first and a three horse race for third. Can't believe I have the most individual wins of the league and drop to the bottom!!!! Only one driver in the CHASE! That's pathetic. Kyle, Junior and Kenseth on the outside looking in...who woulda thought?!?!?

Leave it to Kenseth to not make the chase for the first time. That's ok, the reamining four (Martin, Montoya, Johnson, and Newman) are strong. Let's go racing boys ...

Oops -- with Kahne bumping up 5 positions with the win at Atlanta, looks like Melissa is also a good bet for 5 for 5. WIll be a interesting last 10 races. JKB has a 30 point projected advantage with three more seasonal wins, but looks to be a great finish...few more teams may jump as nearly a dozen drivers dance in the bubble going into week 26!

Top 10 shake up a little but Jeanne still with a comfortable lead..will really come down to who can get the most cars into THE CHASE. JKB with a great chance to be 5 for 5! Who would have though DE Jr and Kyle to be on the outside looking in for 2009?! Kyle has a chance to sneak in at Richmond but my money says he pushed too hard and wrecks going to broke!!

Okay - Just so everyone knows how the points work when we go into the Chase with the ten races left. Our scoring system follows Nascar's points. The top twelve Nascar teams in points will all go into the last ten races with 5000 points, the remaining teams who do not make the Chase only maintain the points they have gained throughout the season. Our scoring in the Pool will follow the scoring in Nascar. If this does not make sense let me know - as I'm sure Dustin will!?!

Jeanne still has a strong lead in this league. Melissa gained some ground. Top 10 pretty much standing pat. Dustin -- need ya to email me sometime to confirm how you are handling the last 10 races. Still unclear what you mean if its not normal NASCAR points......email me at work....
