June Meeting Minutes – Schaffer’s hosted

Present -                 Schaffers, Clayton Hill, and Nichols.

 

Treasurers Report

1.                Reviewed financial info provided by Tom prior to meeting.

2.                Reviewed current stock prices

3.                Connie will collect checks for Tom.  Checks collected from Nichols, Schaffer’s.  Clay will mail his to Connie

 

Old Business -

New Business –

1.                Schaffers returned SSG software to Jim.

2.                Mary brought in a list of “Top 25 Growth” large companies.  The list was reviewed and discussed.  Interestingly, we owned a couple.

3.                Mary presented information on a company called JetBlue Airways after seeing a story about it on TV.

4.                Jim assigned the following stocks to have SSG’s completed by next meeting:

a.                Harley Davidson – Clay

b.                JetBlue Airways – Jim & Mary

c.                 Johnson & Johnson – Jim & Mary

d.                Kohls – Connie & Bill

e.                Disney – Connie and Bill

5.                Clay mentioned interest in Martha Stewart Inc.  He is going to assess the company and may complete an SSG if interesting.

6.                Voted to buy 10 shares of LOW at or below $45.00.

7.                Next meeting is at Senor Matias’, 7:00 on August 1st.
