Present:  Clay and Jackie Hill, Jim and Mary Nichol, Pat Schaffer, Connie Schaffer and Abby the dog.

 

 

1        Reviewed financial information from Tom - decided to make purchases given current cash on hand.   Motion to buy 15 shares of each of the following at market value was approved:

 

2.  Motion to put stop/loss order for General Dynamics at $95.00 was approved.

 

3.  The following dues were collected by Connie who will send them to Tom

·        Hills -               March dues

·        Nichols -          March dues

·        Bill Schaffer -   March dues

·        Connie Schaffer – March dues

·        Pat Schaffer – Feb. and March dues

 

           

4.      Discussed use of SSGs.   In general, the group felt that SSGs are one means of analyzing data, but alternative analysis are also viable options.  Several people felt that the SSG requirement has:  1) been an obstacle for them when they have considered or been asked to present a stock, 2) prevented partnership purchases, and 3) intimidated potential and new members.  The group firmly supports analysis, but agreed that other analysis methods would be acceptable as means for making partnership purchasing decisions.  

 

5.      Next meeting is March 18, 7:00 at Senor’ Matias.   Between now and then – buy

chocolate, drink beer and brush your teeth.
