 No scandal for the SFL in 2007!. While taking a break before the 2007 SFL Season, attending a baseball game in Kansas City, SFL Commissioner and O/M for Gracie's Irish Banditos, Tom O'Hara addressed concerns that the fantasy football league, in it's 16th season, could have it's season marred by scandal such as betting which has rocked the NBA, steroid in MLB and dog-fighting in the NFL. O'Hara re-assured the fan-base that he had utmost confidence in the integrity of the league which has survived many hurdles including multiple deployments of managers to the global war on terrorism. "If we could survive the rules meetings of the 1990s, we can survive anything," said O'Hara. "Unless Budweiser is determined to be a performance-enhancing drug, we should be fine." |
